Cuttings are an easy economical way to plant sugarcane.  Each bud/cutting grows to a full stalk at maturity.

Sugarcane Plants are the quickest and easy way to plant sugarcane. We have done some of the work for you. Rooted, and ready to plant. leafy live Sugarcane plant.

We now offer Sugarcane Plant Seedlings. This plant is already rooted and has sprouted leaves
Most of the plants are already 2-4 weeks or older and usually 2-3″ or more, We do not send the seedling plant in a pot it is in minimal soil. Remember these are seedlings, there is no stalk or ratoon until fully mature. Each seed tray can have more than one seedling. It is an immature sugarcane plant that will grow into a stalk. 

Sugarcane is a welcomed addition to any garden or home. It creates a natural barrier for privacy or wind break that resembles bamboo. It can also be a wonderful, unique houseplant when put in a bright sunny location.

When planted outdoors it can reach a height from 4 to 12 feet. A single row of sugarcane can give you tasty chewing canes or be replanted. Best grown in zones 6-10, but can also be grown in zone 5. Plants will multiply quickly. The number of canes will approximately double each preceding growing season as well as becoming thicker each year.

Sugarcane also makes a suitable container plant, for inside or outside with the advantage of moving it in if you live in an area where heavy frosts may occur.

We Ship in 5-7 business days. We do not ship plants in pots.  We do occasionally trim the plant leaves for shipping. Seedlings will be sent together in one bundle NOT separate containers.

TO PLANT: Dig a hole 3-7″  in depth. Plant  standing up.  Cover loosely with rich soil, fertilize lightly with a generic fertilizer such as 6-6-6 or 8-8-8, then water! Keep moist for several days, then water regularly after that.
